It makes sense that the DE would be that depraved and inhumane, but I was so hoping they wouldn’t go there. And speaking of “go”, I’m rooting for a mighty escape.
The story is going pretty nice, I liked the plot. Well, it is quite nice that now Severus's cover is blown, he won't have to pretend to hate Harry in class anymore. Though I must say that I don't like a bald Harry, maybe you can do something about it, a hair growth spell perhaps?

How indeed? A great chapter thank you
Poor, poor Harry. It's so in character to have him worry about someone other than himself while he is in so much pain as well. I liked that he was adamant about speaking about the potential danger to Snape, and the touch of humor that you included when the adults misunderstood Harry's meaning when he said that he had feelings for Snape. That helped to cut some of the intensity of this chapter, and it worked well.
Great chapter. Looking forward to what comes next!
