I don't think it's a problem that Dumbledore is much more present in Harry's life: actually I really like to see that, for once, Dumbledore isn't manipulative or evil. This chapter gave me that sense of anxiety that I often felt in your other stories (and for me it means that development is taking shape) and among the secondary characters I have to say that I am very curious about Bellamy. I look forward to the next chapter ... but I'm also waiting for Among the Gemini Trees ...
I'm enjoying this story more with each instalment. Harry, Snape and Dumbledore are so interlinked that you need to give us something from all 3 points of view to make up the whole picture, and I like each reveal. Hope Harry's plans for hiring work out.
Great chapter, I'm looking forward to the reactions when people find out Harry is hiring fae
I'm really glad that Harry is continuing being independent (even if to a somewhat lesser extent) even though he now has proper guardians. I'd be disappointed if he shrugged his shoulders at his business ventures (and obligations) just because he hadn't attained early majority.
I also like reading about Harry's and Dumbledore's relationship, not just Harry and Severus'.
Excited to see what happens next!

Well. You made me cry at Harry's dire situation. The fact that Snape (who still doesn't really quite believe Harry) stepped up to take him in, coupled with Harry's anguish finally did it. Excellently done.
During the whole trial I gnawed my nails for anxiety ... the result was obvious, I think, but it's right for adult people. I like this Dumbledore who is not evil or manipulative while I am still a bit uncertain about Severus, but I hope he gets better in the next chapters.
I love the depth you give each character. Like Rowling but also so uniquely. Here I am ready to hate in Dumbledore but there it is.the whole human kind represented in one character. Flawed, repentant, layered. Everyone is complex and everyone is on their own a different story, a whole.ukiverse of complexities. Hope to read from you soon!
this is great! i was so happy to see this fic still being updated, i sat right down in the middle of folding laundry and read the last few chapters you've posted! can't wait to see more!

I am so pleased Harry is back in the Alleys. Dumbledore neglected Harry shamefully and I’m pleased you are making him do his duty. Thank you a great story and so well written

Woah! Awesome chapter! I really feel for Harry, and for Snape's frustration and inexperience in how to help Harry. I love that having Harry go back to his routine and working helps him so immensely. Well done, Snape! I love that Dumbledore and Snape are willing to do this for him, actually help him. depression is not fun, and very difficult for anyone, but especially teenagers without enough coping mechanisms.
I love, love, love how Snape threw back Harry's words about what a guardian must do for their ward from Harry's paper. LOL! And it really shows that Snape listened, and has a sense of ironic humor. There really is so much to explore in this relationship.
I am really loving this story. Thank you so much for all the updates! I hope to be able to read more!
