I'm very much enjoying this, and am sad to see that it is wrapping up. I'd love to see how the Knockturn and Payne Alley denizens are going to show their support for Harry.
WOW, my birthday was yesterday and I check Potions and Snitches to find out that I have TWO new chapters! What an awesome birthday present. I love seeing how caring Harry is in this story. He was that way in the books too but it is really defined here.
I am enjoying all the ins and outs of Harry's business plan-- it's a good amount of detail since it also doubles as world-building, the way you sneak in details like Ollivander's having once been on Knockturn. Harry's growing business acumen is a really fun aspect of his character to explore, especially the way you tie it to his sense of justice and what's fair to everyone. Glad to see more of this story!
I wonder if Dumbledore had anything to do with that article The Prophet put out.
Author's Response: Dumbledore didn't. The Prophet office is right there on Diagon and changing Diagon would be big news so they want to write about it. Wizards don't like change (evidenced by the way they still light Hogwarts with candles, don't use modern communication, etc), so they definitely disapprove of changing the alleys up, which is why the Prophet wrote the article the way they did instead of writing it up in a positive light. I think they have to see that a change is positive first before they take to it. To be fair however, I think a lot of regular Muggles are like that too :p
