I like how your Snape stays in character so much though he slowly changes his perception of Harry. I like how he justifies it with the task Dumbledore gave him but I'm looking forward to Severus maybe really changing not just under pretence. Also your writing is fantastic! They are some sentences that just have such an impact and are full of meaning. Also, I liked the idea that Snape having to get to know Harry is a kind of last resort and not just for Dumbledore's amusement.

This is so well written, and so different from anything else I’ve read. I hope that what Severus starts with duplicitous intentions becomes real. Thanks for the excellent story.

I like how you portray Severus' reaction. So often he turns mushy and sentimental with Harry but here he is doing something against his will and still disliking Harry. Thank you

I have a feeling that Snape's duplicity is going to wind up crushing both him and Harry, but maybe not, maybe something will intervene. Here's hoping!
