Ohhh poor boy. He is so lost and confused. That sandwich could of been a trap. Maybe Tom will notice and mention it missing, and Severus will try to set a trap just like it. Lovely story. I really like how different it is, that the Weasleys didn't work out for Harry. Snape is smart, smarter than Harry by far. He'll be able to catch him. But then what? I look forward to reading about how and what happens next. Thank you so much for the update!
Author's Response: Thank you! There's a lot of stories with corporal punishment, and in most cases, it is Snape who does it - but in canon, there's no indication that he would do something like this, whereas it is hinted at that Mr. Weasley sometimes resorts to corporal punishment for the twins. (And he's clearly from a generation who considers it normal)
I just don't think Harry would react favourably to corporal punishment - he's too sensitive to just shrug it off like the Weasley boys apparently do, but also too Gryffindor-ish and rebellious to try and change his behaviour to avoid punishment.
