I really like all the details - Severus not feeling the usual body aches, disillusioning himself in the dungeons, etc. that make for a great read!

I wonder how Albus knew what sized clothing to buy for Alfonse? Maybe they came with a sizing charm to cover that. Ginny has some temper. Alfonse wasn't exactly welcoming but biting his head off because Harry left seemed a bit much.

Author's Response: yknow that's a detail I honestly just forgot about, feel free to assume that, since they're from a Nice Store, they're automatically charmed to resize to fit the wearer... and yeah i deliberately wrote ginny (and the rest of them, for that matter) as being dramatic and overreactive at times, because in my experience, that's how they are

Closure - the word I was looking for was closure... (in reference to my review about the last chapter). I knew I'd get it after hitting submit.

This chapter also was great too, I'm going back and re-reading the story again start to finish because I just can't get enough.

Author's Response: ahhh okay that makes sense! im glad you figured out what word you were looking for! and i hope you enjoy(ed?) your reread!!

Good meeting as it wouldn’t have been believable if Alphonse had been approachable and friendly. Thank you you for updating.

Author's Response: "Even though he's been ordered to befriend Harry, he doesn't have to do a very good job of it, now does he." -Snape's thought process, probably. And thank you very much for taking the time to review all the chapters! It means a lot

The only thing I feel is off about this chapter is addressing Severus as Alphonse in the prose. I think Severus would still think of himself as Severus, but also it makes it slightly difficult for the reader to follow along. Maybe it's just me, but I rather imagine Severus as a 16 year old. I get confused otherwise when I see Alphonse in anything other than dialogue. :)

I love that he's like, "Where's the liquor?" LOL Severus has to drown his sorrows in a drink. I really love that Ginny is so protective of Harry. It's so refreshing to see a fiery version of her in fan fiction.

Poor Harry. He really does need an adult on his team. Sev! You better be nicer next time!

Author's Response: i really struggled a lot with deciding what to call him in prose, and I'm thinking that you may be right about that, so when I get a chance I'll probably go through and fix that. he's really goin through it and havin one last hurrah with his firewhiskey would be just the ticket!!!! if you like my version of Ginny, then buckle up for the next chapter! she features prominently :) and the ultimate goal of this fic is to get an adult on Harry's side, I'm itching for them to unite and stick it to dumbledore tbh but god knows when I'll get there lskdfjls

Sev isn’t even at the table for ten minutes and he is getting blamed. Amazing. Great chapter!

Author's Response: keep in mind, ginny and harry are the epitome of angsty teenagers so they're gonna be irrational! and snape still very much has his head in the sand so he's not going to be the most rational either so this is gonna be a fun irrational stew for a while yet lmaoo
