Ah!  Looks like this one's shaping up to be even better than your last (at least, the last one I read).  A couple of lines stand out in their amazing-ness, lol: when "the last living Marauder looked back" I nearly started crying right then!  Also, Petunia's statement about Lily, calling her "my sister" in such a context was really moving.

Of course, when Vernon died, I nearly started crying, too... which just goes to show what good writing can do, because I didn't give a hoot for him before I read this story... likewise, your tactic of Harry taking the Dursleys through one at a time created a lot of tension and really tugged at the heartstrings.  Good work!

Wow!  I'm really liking this so far.  Great that you didn't magically transform the Dursleys into the Evil Dursleys - it's almost funny the way that they all show their 'concern' for Harry in this chapter.

Good description of how Harry feels.  I think it fits.  :)

You're Jocemum from ff-dot-net, eh?  Glad to see another tale of yours after reading T&S and C&E.

Whoa! We can only hope that the upcoming HBP will be so riveting! This is fantastic - quick-paced, hold-you-breath, spot-on characterization, and simply too, too short. Don't you dare stop there! Eagerly watching for the next update...

Excellent start! You've done a particularly good job capturing the numbness born of grief that Harry's experiencing. The image of him sitting silently in the rain and the short "Someone did." of the dinnertable are so poignant in a very understated way. The sudden burst of action at the end definitely gets the blood pumping, however. Can't wait to read on!

Will Harry stay in his apathetic mood? Will he be tortured? The suspense is killing me! Please update more! Thanks! ^o^
