Just read the first 14 chapters yesterday and was glad to see the next chapter up today. Hopefully Harry will be able to leave Privet Drive and get back to Severus, Sirius and Remus. I love Sirius turning into a dog all the time, with the amount of trauma he's dealing with, I feel like Padfoot is probably a blessing! He certainly prefers Sev, Sirius and Remus! Severus and Sirius are almost painfully in character, but I honest to goodness love all the tender moments - even if subtle - between Severus and Harry. It's so touching, I almost tear up when I'm in the heat of the moment and Severus is there to calm Harry down and bring him from his flashbacks and disappearing within his mind. Seriously though, thank you again for this story Author's Response: Oh yes!! You absolutely didn't miss it in any way! I'm very new to this cite (And I also just learned I have reviews amongst learning theres a discord and so many others who adore these two characters!) I'm so proud you think it's well written! d84;a039; oh my goodness! Sev and Sirius are two of the most complicated characters, I swear! I love their fighting and their backstory, I can't imagine a world where the two will ever be truly friends, but whenever they're in a room together, it's endlessly interesting. I'm so happy you like the subtle Sev and Harry as well, I feel like neither of them could really say out loud a lot of their thoughts, but are both so sweet when it comes to actions. !! I've never been quite as upset with Dumbledore as I am now, and I can't see that changing throughout the duration of the story. He's such a manipulative old coot. I'm sorry for this being my only review so far, I just found the story today you see, and I may have binged it while I should be working... :) Anyways, I'll now be checking back every day to see if there's a chapter of this story. Thank you SO MUCH for writing it such an awesome tale so far! Author's Response: I'm so happy you love it!!! Theres certainly more to come, so no worries there! I also am obsessed with those three working as a team, despite their animosity! Especially when it revolves around Harry, I feel like they'd only be able to agree when Harry's happiness is at the center! And yes! Dumbledore is so manipulative, honestly he might be the worst offender in canon, I mean, Voldemort was a significant manipulator as well, but I feel like theres such a difference between D manipulating people while pretending to care about them, and V manipulating people who chose to follow all while being fairly open that he's their god. No worries either! I didn't know about this cite, and I'm very new to it! So it's exciting to see a review at all! d84;a039;I fully approve of binging fanfic while at work tho, how else are we supposed to get through the day?! But oml, binging this whole thing at once!
