This was a fun, adventurous, and offbeat start to your story! I loved some of the humorous phrases (like the reference to aliens) that were sprinkled throughout. Your description of the “new” Snape, as a debonair and swashbuckling adventurer, was terrific.

My very first thought was "Wait, The Doctor?!" and then I realized it couldn't be.
Now I'm intrigued though.
