Interesting! I also really like how you’ve shown Petunia displaying a measure of affection for Harry in a way that still demeans him and “keeps him in his place”, so to speak, below her own family. It also makes sense that Harry, at such a young age, would identify with what he knows and is valued for at the Dursleys and would want to go back. I also like the sibling addition. Looking forward to seeing how this story unfolds!

Thank you, you do have a good grasp on how an abused child will react. I think Dumbledore will have something to say to this, I’m looking forward to that confrontation.
