Oh no, a cliffhanger! I wonder if the kid was being controlled or polyjuiced. That's the only explanation I could think of to risk the wrath of everyone who cares for Holly in that room. I was wondering when Snape was gonna visit Ms. Figg. It definitely wasn't disappointing. I also like how this was a bit of a trip down memory lane, not just for the characters but for us, the readers. It's interesting seeing how far Harry, Holly, and Dudley have come. Though, I was partially hoping Snape would run into Petunia, just because I think the vitriol between them would be entertaining to read. Oh, well. Maybe some day. 😆 Anyway, thanks for updating! It's always fun to read a new chapter from you! 😁 Author's Response: Yes, it has taken Snape a ridiculous amount of time to realise the resources he's got at his disposal. He's still not using those resources correctly but perhaps he'll wake up soon
Good for Mrs Figg! She has definitely given Severus something to think about! I loved the description of Sirius's trip to the yoga classes and getting his tummy tickled! I love Holly. I knew as soon as Draco broke Harry's sample she was gonna get back at him. Her causing the other Slytherins to confront Draco was just icing on the cake. Also, the little tidbit of Theo possibly having a crush on Harry is a nicely random and cute addition. I always love reading bits from the view of the side characters. It adds an interesting variety. Plus, Neville's one of my favorites, so I was happy to read something from his POV. 😄 Now I'm curious what Neville's mom could have done to make Malfoy owe her a favor. Author's Response: I love a good Harry&Neville friendship. He's such an underappreciated character in canon from the Trio's pov. But seeing the character development in canon was so amazing that as writer I can make it work so much earlier than canon and in a completely different way that it still remains in character. Whether Theo has a crush on Harry is debatable but Draco seems to be obsessed with Harry, doesn't he... And as for what Neville's mother could have done to have a Malfoy owe her, well, Lucius hasn't taken to sharing that with me yet so who knows.
A brilliant chapter thank you. Severus is contradicting himself and just doesn't realise it, it makes hilarious reading even if you want to shake him and Draco.
