Haha that was great! Poor Harry. Snape sure is not giving him any leeway at all. Will Harry actually end up punished for any of this? Will his classmates believe what Snape said? Your characterizations, pace, and descriptions are spot on. Poor McGonagall though, being disappointed in Harry. I hope someone tells her the truth soon. Fantastic chapter. I am very much enjoying your updates. Thanks so much for writing and sharing it.
Yikes!! Poor Harry. you did a good job showing his immaturity and naivety. Snape is not holding back. Dumbledore seems to want to treat Harry as a child. Interesting contrast of characters. I liked how Harry suggested they call Dobby and Snape did. Everything comes out much faster when people are telling the truth and listening to each other. I enjoyed this chapter. The characterizations and development were spot on.

Is there any chance you’ll be writing longer stories? because you have such smooth and unique way of writing, plus your Snape feels true to his canon character yet folds better, and you didn’t make Albus an asshole which is something I truly appreciate and suffice to say harry is wonderful . Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying it, I had a great deal of fun writing this chapter. Snape and Harry and Dumbledore all in a room together is always an interesting dynamic. Longer stories... hmm... when I first started writing fanfiction a few years ago I did plan out longer-ish ones in my head (The Hogwarts Quartet and Tailor-Made, both on ff.net), but I found it hard to keep up the energy/motivation for them after a while, so they are still unfinished. It's tricky because I do want to finish them but my writing style has changed just enough that reading them back feels v odd. Also I must admit that I am not the best at plotting so find it easier to write a story that I have a clear idea of where it is going, which was not so much the case for those longer ones. I just have so many unfinished stories that it's a relief to write the shorter ones and finish them, I suppose... I don't want to start posting ones that I won't be able to finish. Okay so that was a longwinded answer... basically... maybe, maybe not? |
