Author's Response: I'm not sure Snape would be thinking about that-- at this point he's not exactly welcoming Harry into his house. He's basically being forced by unforeseen circumstances to put up an unwanted guest, and it is the middle of the night and he just wants to get back to bed.

Terrific start to your story! I love the premise. I really liked seeing Ron stand up for his friend, and your characterization of Snape was nicely done. Thanks also for the wonderfully helpful author note relaying how much has been written (so excited to see it’s mostly written already!)
