Author's Response:
Hi,
Thanks a bunch for your kind words; I'm happy you're enjoying the story so much. I'm glad you're enjoying Saturnine so much, I really wanted her to come across as a real fully-fleshed character.
Hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story, too. Happy New Year!
I love that Saturnine is taking the details of Harry’s vision seriously, as important intelligence for the war effort. Though I am amazed that Dumbledore confided in Saturnine around a key piece of information that he typically holds close to his chest. The quotes from the Art of War were beautifully done - they often come across as the author trying too hard but, in this story, said quotes are masterfully chosen and interwoven.
I love the setting of Cove Cottage, and the descriptions of it’s surrounds that often reflect the emotions of those that are residing there. It was beautiful to go from Harry’s nightmare to the ocean cliff at night. I love how Saturnine relates to Harry with such a calm and honest demeanor. Her character is so well written.
That was an honest and well done chapter rife with emotion. I let out a breath at the end that I hadn’t realized I was holding. I’m enjoying seeing Harry and Saturnine’s relationship develop.
