This is a touching scene of connection (however brief), sadness, and a sense of what could have been.
A wonderful conversation between Harry and Severus. I especially enjoyed when they gazed intensely at each other in open curiosity.

Author's Response: Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked the interactions between them. Sev's already growing a lot and benefitting from having someone supportive in his life. I added the conversation between him and his adult self after I'd written most of it. I couldn't resist having him point out what so many of us are thinking, which is how silly Snape is behaving by judging Harry blindly because he reminds him of his parents and specifically his father, and the irony that his younger self is the one to point it out to him! Author's Response: That's a good point, I'll admit that I was mainly thinking that using it would save him all the attention and trauma of being discovered by everyone in the common room plus the fact that it must be an amazing experience for Sev but that's a good point what goes around comes around, Harry's truly taking this chance and making amends for everything his father did even if he can't change his Professor's life he's helping his younger self out

So good to see the differing perspectives and how life has moved on, although this ending seems very abrupt. It would have been really nice to find out where the next generation are sorted and how they’re getting on.
Author's Response: Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate chapter, not sure how that happened. I think in this case I'd probably have Serus still going in Slytheirn as in cannon?Cursed Child although I'm not sure he'd follow the book otherwise as I wasn't very impressed after reading the James Potter series and other fanfiction, although I did like his friendship with Scorpius. As for Harry, I think he could be interesting, I guess he'd be more likely to go into Gryfffindor or Slytherin aprticularly now Slyhteirn doesn't have the dark shadow looming over it, I've not really thought too much on that one.
