Ahh no! I caught up. Lovely story and can't wait for the next update.
I don't ind the descriptions as it adds a depth to the overall story.
I’m surprised Snape doesn’t tell the Hufflepuffs off for having an unauthorized pin on their school uniform. Hermione wasn’t happy in cannon when Harry did better than her in potions, but is taking it much better now that there’s a legitimate reason for his success.
I’m really enjoying your descriptions of the potions aspects. It immerses us in Harry’s reality. There’s also great enjoyment in seeing Harry excel in an area he has historically struggled with (especially in Snape’s domain of expertise). Harry’s playing a clever, but dangerous, game in DADA by engaging instead of keeping his head down. I hope his strategy doesn’t backfire! It’s striking that he has to pretend again in that classroom, as his need to pretend has been a recurring theme in your story. I’m looking forward to the point where he can simply be real with Snape about all aspects of his life and not have to pretend. I hope that Harry starts that process by at least engaging with Snape on the social turbulence he’s currently facing. Thanks for sharing your Bingo card document - I’m so impressed!
I like the descriptive aspect of the potions! It makes the story feel more real and filled out. Loving this new story by the way
