A good chapter, I love how Harry stays true to character through this. He knows there will be consequences from snape and umbridge, but still faces them in a very true to character way

Thank you a very enlightening chapter. I can’t believe that Severus isn’t putting together all the clues he has to see how Harry’s family treat him. He’s supposed to be an intelligent man
I love the idea of Harry becoming Umbridge’s nightmare-ish student.
Gah, the more I read this story, the happier I get and the more intriguing it gets. Now I need to re-read everything up to this chapter, just to give myself something to do.

I really enjoyed reading about Harry’s attempts at subterfuge, even as I did so with bated breath. His efforts were inspired and amusing. Umbridge’s use of Filch was clever. The chapter end was terrific and feels like it’s setting the stage for the “great Harry and Snape stuff” ahead! It’s interesting to see how Snape keeps rationalizing away his observations of Harry’s behavior. Your author’s note has me excited for what’s in store! Thanks so much for these great chapters.
