I suspect that Harry is being overly optimistic. Good for Hermione making him go to the hospital wing. I wonder when he would have gone otherwise. Thanks for another good chapter.

I accidentally skipped a sentence, and had a moment of confusion, thinking Potter shoved Longbottom's toad in his mouth. I can't get that image out of my head now.

Sirius is very in character, as are McGonagall and Poppy. Well done! I'm feeling sorry for Harry. Obviously, something is not right here. Poor Harry.
I really like that you gave Poppy ways to identify potions ingredients and such. Very useful skill for a mediwitch.
