This sounds very dark not sure if I’ll continue but we’ll written thank you
Author's Response: That's fair! Keep yourself safe. I will say that this is an 'angst with a happy ending' fic. Topics relating to past abuse and neglect are explored later on but not in graphic detail. There is however, a fair amount of corporal punishment in this story. Thank you for reading :)

This is not good for Harry at all! I wonder if the draught was given to him on purpose. I also wonder why no one has questioned Dung. Thank goodness for Hermione. I’m looking forward to the Harry-Snape interaction that will come from all this.

Yikes! Poor Harry. He's honestly really lucky that Hermione figured it out. Really lucky. If she hadn't been around, would Hrry have died before anyone else did figure it out?
I do think Harry was well within his rights to throw stuff at the news. Nice to see realistic portrayals of a teenaged boy.
