I knew it!!! Lol
I have a practice chanter. I've had it for about 20 years. The first time I tried it as a kid, it was so hard to blow that I did something to my jaw and couldn't close my mouth for over 12 hours (I still don't know if that is normal or if we assembled it incorrectly, or perhaps used the wrong reed). My dad kept it after I abandoned it and recently gave it back to me. I've tried it a couple times but haven't gone further. I prefer harp and piano, violin and viola. And since I teach them, they're doubly worth spending time on.
Maybe someday I'll try the chanter again...
I love Severus's thoughts here.
The village won't be happy with two bagpipers! I like how the two have become integrated into the village.
Awwwww. It's so sweet. I love it.
Knowing there's an update for this fic makes me so excited. It's my favourite to follow.
This was absolutely lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed Harry’s lesson in the early morn, as well as Severus’s musings. The chapter end was so nice.
I was so curious what Harry got in return!
Poor Snape, his guilt is speaking up
I love this story and check obsessively for updates - thank you!

I really appreciated the explanation of occlumency in the author’s note. That method makes sense. I loved the chapter and how Harry is thinking about ways to apply his reading to his life. I think I know how Harry is being compensated and think it’s hilarious! Thanks for the great chapter.
