Oh dear, Harry. That didn’t go to plan.
I hope you don’t mind me pointing it out, but a ‘fitful sleep’ means Snape kept waking up/didn’t sleep well, which is, I think, the opposite of what happened.

It does make much more sense the way you put it. Sorry for the confusion. I'll correct that in the story. Thanks for all your reviews!
