Reviews For A Bond for the Ages
I'm wondering if a sentence or two is missing from this part (unless I missed something, I don't recall Dumbledore ever suggesting the boys stay with Snape): ""Really?" Severus said deadpanned, not sure he believed the headmaster. "Harry must remain within his mother's protection at Privet Drive and, unless you are willing to go up against Lucius Malfoy, Draco will have to return to his parents." "If it is so dangerous for them to be away from their homes, how could they possibly come to mine?" Severus said." Author's Response: Hello! I'm always happy to hear from a new (or returning) reader. I look forward to hearing your thoughts as, even if you have read this before, it has likely had chapters added since then, so I hope you enjoy! Also, you're very welcome for the warnings. I'm well aware of triggers, and always want to try and ensure people know what they're getting into! As for the part of the chapter you have quoted, you are correct and at no point did Dumbledore ever suggest outright that the boys stay with Severus. It was more heavily implied in the previous sentences when Dumbledore suggests maybe Severus could find out how the boys Apparated into Hogwarts and Severus is skeptical due to his negative relationshpi with the boys. So, no, there was no direct suggestion the boys go to Severus', but it was an implication instead, an implication Severus is not thrilled about.
