Lol, brilliant. I love the end, HE had ever right to be walking the corridors not like the little brats... lol. Ohh its dripping with denial, almost pouring with it. I love how he just sits there on the bed holding his hand as though he thinks he's punishing Harry for hitting him in his sleep by doing so. I wonder what thoughts he was lost in...... I like how he also berates himself about doing something,the first thought being about what he should do not about what he ought to do... all the little bits, every little movement, every little thought- all add up... its short and sweet (well not so much!) and well worth the read. Thanks for posting it.
Very well written. I especially loved the last line "He didn't care about Precious Harry Potter anyway." It seems a bit laughable to think that Snape would ever care about Harry, but throughout the story he stayed with him through his nightmare.
So great job, keep up the good work!
Lovely story. Snape's thoughts belie his actions, just as Snape's words belie his actions in the books. Very close to canon, and a nice moment from the books to write about.
