*sigh* Snape can't just be caring can he? ah. but that makes him so much fun. ;)

Author's Response: It does make him fun, huh? Crazy how that works, because if I had to deal with him in reality I'd probably hate it a lot.

hehe. Snape-Lupin...I liked that though even though it didn't work. :)

Author's Response: Harry's a sharp kid when he wants to be... or when it seems to count. If things are going to work out in his favor he can be dumb though, like in the book with the Gillyweed. ;)

hehe. poor Harry, I'm positive I wouldn't like to be drugged for anything! eek. good chapter indeed.

Author's Response: Me either! Glad you liked it!!

"He really wasn’t in the mood for this game that Potter seemed to be playing, but with nothing better to do he had no excuse to leave." it seems that Snape is the one playing the games here. Poor poor Harry. You really described the bag of mush well; I am feeling sick here just after reading about it. I love your take on Snape, unreasonable, forceful, making some less than nice choices yet not seeing anything wrong with them. Nice.

Author's Response: The bag of mush was even grossing me out, lol! I'm happy to hear you approve of my take on Snape. As a Deatheater I'm sure he has little worry about regretting his choices. He does what he does and doesn't (or pretends to) not let it bother him. It wouldn't be as fun if he was really nice and approachable anyway. Then all that tension and mystery that I adore about him would be gone, and we would be left with someone like Mr Bean! ;)

I love the end of this chapter. Poor Harry. Poor poor boy. You should probably work on the dozing off in the tub part- it left me in the transition and I was exited from the fic a little while I tried to get what happened in my mind straight. The... I don't want to say manipulation but the uncertainty and dynamics between Snape and Harry is missing. It used to be here so maybe you should look at your notes and try to get that terrifying 'what's-Snape-going-to-do-next" feeling back.

Author's Response: Poor Harry indeed, but I love to torture him. Whether I'm writing or reading a toture fic it's always kinda fun to see Harry struggle (as long as he comes out ok in the end of the story).

I liked this part: "He turned both the hot and cold spigots, but received nothing save for the empty sucking noise that the faucet had given to him moments before. Harry felt his insides squirm coldly. Now what little control he’d been clinging to had been cut off like the valves to his tub and sink." This chapter is missing some of the cold raw edge of uncertainty, Snape's uncertainness and Harry's desolution that I read last time i read it. I still love your Snape and all his sarcastic or snarky statements. Very nice.

Author's Response: ahh yes the spigot sound. I got that from a memory of mine. My dad was fixing our water line (and he neglected to tell me)... I had just came home from work in the summer. I was going to shower and change. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water and got that sound. It's a hollow sound... and I was like, oh crap! Not that a shower is the same as needing a drink, because I'm sure Harry was a lot more unhappy than I was, hehe.

Wah! What did you change? The almost-thinking-its-Remus but-what's-wrong,something's-wrong is gone. I liked that sick realization I, as a reader went through during this chapter but it wasn't here this time. :( Anyways, I love Snape's manipulation tactics. It has such potential to mess with Harry and leave him confused, worried and fearful.

Author's Response: You know I didn't change hardly anything in these chapters, so maybe it's your pov that's changed somehow? Sorry, that you were a bit disappointed. Hehe, I know how that goes sometimes.

I actually liked the other version better leading up to the events that started Snape demanding that Harry eat. This new version skips over the path, I liked the path. I like Snape's thoughts though. :)

Author's Response: hmm I don't exactly recall what I changed... I'm always tweaking something somewhere in a story. Snape's thoughts are fun to write. He's different than Harry. More to the point and snappish sometimes. I like messing with him.

Ahh... I love a drugged Harry. :) I really like this take on the characters. Well done! :)

Author's Response: hehe, it's funny when he's drugged. Glad you liked it! :)
