Aunt Petunia shrieks.

Dudley pounds up the stairs.

He lifts his head with effort.

The cupboard door opens.

He tries to hide his face, but Sirius doesn't let him. He stares at Harry with a mixture of shock and disgust.

"Bloody fuck."

"Sirius?"

"In here."

Harry recognizes Lupin through a haze of tears he isn't able to stop.

"Oh, my...."

Sirius backs away, arms folded over his chest, a frown on his face. He lets Lupin help Harry out of the cupboard.

Harry sways on his feet, but Lupin doesn't let him fall.
