"I was expecting Albus."

"He'll be here shortly. Is it true?"

Crouching by the door, he listens.

"Are you going to accept him?"

"No."

"He's your son."

"I neither want nor need a son."

"How can you be so callous? It's Lily's child!"

Silence.

"Won't you at least look at him?"

"No. Dumbledore will handle this. The charms can be replaced."

"He can never go back to the Muggles."
