"Ron isn't gonna believe it!" Harry grinned. As Christmas-tree decorations went, Snape's were particularly odd.
"Done already?" Snape came through the front door, his cloak covered in snowflakes.
He examined Harry's work. "Those two are quite close, and there's a blank spot over there," Snape told his newly-adopted son.
Harry went to re-hang the decoration obediently.
"And here," Snape handed him a parcel, "is an early Christmas present."
Harry unwrapped the gift and grinned at the new decorations. He added them to the tree quickly.
Now the tree was perfect - silver cauldrons and Golden Snitches shining against dark green needles.
