Prompts by Morgana
Summary: On that fateful day, Quirrell was in Diagon alley an hour earlier and successfully stole the Philosopher's Stone. The Philosopher's Stone is a panacea, curing all diseases, injuries and aging: when insane, sadistic Voldemort drinks the Elixir of Life he is restored to Tom Riddle, handsome, manipulative, charming, intelligent and thoroughly Machiavellian.

Tom realizes that before his first death he had descended into total insanity and had made a huge number of foolish and dangerous choices, culminating in his decision to kill the Potters. He decides to go into hiding for five years and, behind the scenes, regains the esteem and loyalty of his followers and political allies.

During the spring term of his sixteenth year (age of consent in UK), it is somehow discovered that Harry Potter is homosexual and the deeply conservative Wizarding Population turn their backs on their saviour.

This is the chance for which Voldemort was waiting

  • When Severus discovers that he is Harry's father, it is a matter of honour to make amends and gain Harry as a son in heart and law.
  • Pureblood families treasure their children.
  • Voldemort convinces Severus Snape that he did not murder the Potters.
  • Only the purest of Pureblood houses, who maintained the Old Religion aren’t homophobic.
