Summary: What if when Harry viewed Snape's Pensieve it caused him to have flashbacks to being bullied by Dudley and his gang? What if he was not able to recover and was stuck in his own memories when Snape pulled him out? What would happen?
[Report This]
Summary: What if an entire past had been obliverated? Who has done it? Why was it done?

Mandatory:
  1. Snape either being in Gryffindor or both Gryffindor and Slytherin
  2. Harry meeting a younger Gryffindor or Gryffindor/Slytherin Snape who is Harry's age equivalent or a year older
  3. Older Snape discovering the obliverate
  4. Older and younger Snape both taking care of and protecting Harry (If a back in time fiction, the Lily also protecting Harry)
  5. Both Snapes call Harry by a nickname instead of Harry
  6. James is not a good guy but is not a bad one either (think of his behavior in books)
  7. Harry is not fond of what he sees in James and/or Sirus' behavior
Options:
Snape can be deaged, Harry can go back in time, all the teachers can be deaged, author's choice.

Inspiration: The unfinished fiction by Alarun, The Fifth Marauder

Summary: What if after veritaserum was administered to Barty Crouch and Snape was left alone with him, Harry snuck back and saw the look of utter hatred and fierce protectiveness on Snape's face? What does Harry hear Snape say? How is their relationship affected?

Inspiration: In the movie, when Harry and the others leave the room and Snape is left a lone with Barty Jr., he has a look that seems to speak of his protective feelings towards Harry.

Summary: Harry completely and permenantly loses his memory. No one believes it or accepts it except, strangely enough, Snape, Snape's house, and Minerva.

Must Haves
  • Slightly different personality for Harry (He may have another identity, author's choice)
  • Friendly Draco and/or Slytherins
  • Snape at least becoming an ally/mentor
  • Harry being uncomfortable in Gryffindor
  • People assuming that Harry will regain his memory
  • Harry having negative reactions to people he knew well
  • Harry doing well in potions

Summary: Ron thought they were destroying Voldermort's horcruxes. That was the point of the trip, only to find out in the end his friends are not exactly who they thought they were.

Must haves:

~ Set during TDH
~ Readers see meetings between Snape and Harry and meetings between Bellatrix, the Malfoys and Hermione.
~ A positive relationship between Harry and Severus (biological preferable: brother, father, uncle, etc...)
~ The vision Ron sees when destroying the locket is somewhat true (in other words, no GW/HP.)
~ Hermione is actually related to Bellatrix (daughter, niece, younger sister, etc....)

Possible options:
~ Different names for Mione and Harry
~ Tobias being a wizard
~ Eileen is alive
~ Good or Bad Voldermort with Dumbledore being his opposite
~ Whatever you please....

Summary: Harry and Severus are trapped in the same type of animigus form (just different ages) without any knowledge of who or what they are.

What lead them to this point? What relationship do they have? And who are these two legged beings coming after them?

Summary: The Hogwarts' age versions of Lily and Severus have somehow come in contact with Harry and have discovered his situation at home with the Dursleys, with Sirus and/or at Hogwarts.
They desperately attempt to protect, to guide, and to change the child's future and parentage. Now only if they could get an older Severus to help them.

Summary: Severus realizes that since the Dark Lord used James Potter's body and/or soul to resurrect him that Harry is technically his son. How does he use this information?

Bonus Points for
- Giving Harry a positive relationship with Snape - The pair being either evil, good, or neutral - Protective and possessive Snape

Inspired by the first few chapters of purplegirl's The Tortured Soul

Summary: In the newer release of The Fog, the ghosts come back for the captain's wife. What if the captain was Severus who already had his wife Lily by his side, but both were searching for their lost son?
[Report This]
Summary: Simply show how strong and powerful Snape is. In a lot of stories Harry is more powerful than anyone else, while Snape, who appears to be equally if not more powerful is diminished.

The challenge is to show that Snape is on Harry's level and/or above it, and keep him at that point. Then show Harry's reaction.
