Harry is thrilled that he is allowed to go on a holiday with his relatives, but quickly discovers it to be a trick. Instead of a trip to the seaside he expected, the boy is left on the doorstep of a scary stranger who claims to be his father.

- I like how Snape has a duality of character, but I am concerned about the health (physical and mental) of little Harry, if he continues to treat him like that.
I also wonder, if it is possible to know, when will Snape realize the harm he is doing to his son and if he will ever learn how his uncles treated him.

- Snape's attitude towards Harry is getting worse, he doesn't seem to get better with time. He does not understand that he is a child who makes mistakes and hitting him is never the solution. I don't see that there is a path of redemption for him in this story, it saddens me to think that, because I feel very sorry for poor Harry, a child who has only known suffering and abuse, physical and emotional. First by his uncle and aunt and now by his father, a man who has not bothered to explain any of magic to him and who after each failure all he does is hit him and scare his son. A son who does not even know what is happening and who still believes that they will come for him.

- oh :( i wish Snape uderstood the back ground of Harry's life, that he is severelly traumatices and all the phisycal punichmen (even the most soft) is agravating everithing. I hope Snape stop of abusing Harry soon.
