AU. At the Welcoming Feast in PS, Harry’s scar hurt when he looked past Quirrell at Snape. What if there was another reason to that given? Snape gets a glimpse of the real Harry. Abused!Harry.

- I just had the most marvelous idea of doing a Severitus based off of this, where a Snape that raised Harry from fairly young ends up in Canon sometime and gives CanonSnape an entire paradigm shift. He has to then come to terms with it and ends up helping Harry. I like that thought, very much I do.
