I saw this picture on Tumblr and I began to think what if right before Voldemort showed up that night on Halloween, Lily wrote a letter to Severus that she was going to send the next day. What if when Severus showed up after Lily was killed, he read the letter. What would happen?

In an unlikely turn of events, a small multi-colored cat named Lightning Bolt brings two people together. Of course Harry's life isn't that simple so it's much more complicated than that. (In the process of being rewritten, October 2018)

No, Dumbledore did not use a picture of Severus Snape to teach little two year old Harry to call the man 'Da.' That is a ridiculous accusation and it will not be stood for!

every bit of it was crafted with care and love…. I don’t know how you do it but you infuse alot of emotions and meaning in the simplest of phrases and gestures.
Augggh that was amazing (crying again TvT)
I especially love, love, the way you chose to present the story, something I’ve never seen done before so well. The way you opted to tell most of the story with short visits to Dumbledore’s office was masterful, truly amazing, and eliminates a lot of redundancy fund in fan fiction,making it quite the fresh piece to read and enjoy.
You captures their characters accurately as well. I loved Harry’s innocence and shy nature coming out
And Albus was just perfect (I say this because he is often not properly represented, often used as a cheap manipulative villain when in fact he is quite the complex character)
And man Severus here is just the chef’s kiss snarky, and rude while still having his own brand of care.
I thank you again for this wonderful story.
And again ask that you consider expanding on this story or even writing other adventures so we can enjoy reading your phenomenal writing!

I love how your write his thoughts
After little Harry Potter runs away from his relatives’ home for the sixth time, Albus decides something drastic must happen. Instead of sending a friendly witch from family services like he had done before, he sends Severus Snape in hopes of scaring the boy into staying put. But when a blizzard interferes with plans, Severus learns why Harry keeps running away and a change of plans ensues.
