    I really like this - it was recommended on one of my yahoo groups. I was almost in tears at the beginning, until Sev caught on. I'm not to surprised with your portrayal of the "tabby" I never really saw her a decent head of house. She doesn't stricke me as someone you want to talk to about anything important.
    Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what happens next.

Snape is left dying in the Shrieking Shack after giving Harry his memories convinced that Harry is going to his death. When Snape dies, he is given a chance to send his soul backwards in time seven years to give Harry a chance for a better (and hopefully longer) life.     Wow that was a horrific nightmare, but it very clearly showed the struggle Harry is going through knowing that Craig was Snape and that the REAL Snape wouldn't hurt him, but still terrified that he will. I think the Dementors are Harry's fears of legillimancy.

    At the end of your first chapter you asked if we thought this was cliched or not, I have to say I don't think so. Sure there have been other stories where the Dursley's abandoned Harry, usually somewhere in London, but so far this one is original. I can't wait for POppy to find out about the abuse, and I'm sure that Dumbles will use Legillamancy against the Dursley's - probably not on purpose, but they'll be projecting or something :-)
