When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.
Alternate 6th summer (and part of the school year): post-OotP; ignores HBP and DH.

- This is one of the sweetest and honestly most inspiring severitus stories ive ever read omg :(💖 i have a feeling this fic is gonna stick w me for a while, and whether you plan to write a sequel any time soon or not ill be here!! i appreciate this fic sm, ur a wonderful writer and this was one of the best characterizations of harry & snape ive seen . It was so heartwarming to see how their dynamic developed and while binge reading there were definitely more than a few moments where i had to take a second to punch the air and cheer or cry whjwgwka,,,, i cant thank you enough for this fic
Harry thought having detention with Umbridge over his winter holidays were bad enough, but now his hand is infected, the other students and staff are getting far too deep into the Christmas spirit, and he really just wants to suffer alone.
