About me:

Caramello was the name that a kid from my first grade class called me, as my real name is pronounced Kara (not Kira) and is just spelled differently. No one has called me that since, but I have a fondness for the candybar regardless :)

There's not much to say about me other than I clearly love reading these stories. I tend to lean towards child-stories or stories where Snape adopts Harry. Biological father is cool too, but it's always irriated me (I'm not sure when) when Harry has glamour charms removed. I inevitiably still think of him as looking like I always pictured him to. Any and all story suggestions are welcome my way - I'm always searching for something new that I can read and love while waiting for the next chapter in other well-loved series.

I used to write a lot, but haven't written so much in the last few years, and nothing that is able to be posted on this site - however, I love the editing process as well, and I'm one of Aspeninthesunlight's beta's, and I'm willing to look over anything anyone would like me to. I do have a tendency to speak my mind and pick through stories pretty thoroughly, so if you tend to be sensitive about constructive criticism, I might not be your ideal beta.

    I love love love love LOVE this story! It was the very first Severitus I read on ffn and I'm thrilled to see that you've posted it here as well. As I remember, this was only two chapters on ffn -- I like that you've shortened the two sections into several chapters. I am happy to see that you've joined us here and I hope that this also means that you might be continuing the 'Mine' saga :D

    Had to leave you a review for this story too. The whole four part series makes me swell up with glee when I think about it. I spent the better part of two weeks reading the stories non-stop and you got me hooked onto a genre of HP fanfiction that I can't let go of. Great job! I hope to see the rest posted here soon!

    This was definitely the changing point in the story - I agree with on that. For me, this chapter was like reading something straight out of the books, the first time around; on the edge of my seat, on the verge of tears because it's all so atrocious and heartbreaking. And SOOO well written. You really are the best sevitus author out there - there is no one that can even compare to your level of writing.

    I listened to the MP3 of this the other day while at work (came on with shuffle mode) and it just brought back to me all those sinking, horrid feelings that I know Draco is feeling at that point. I would be hysterical if I were in Harry's shoes too, but man... Harry was brutal, wasn't he? When you can see both sides it's so heart breaking to read. And listen to for that matter.

    You idiot child. *Sigh* It's such a sweet - and odd - sentiment, isn't it? I love how he uses it though, how it's affectionate even when it sounds like an insult. Good ol' Severus.

    The detail about how the ring came into play, how it's what essentially got them out of the forest, and how Harry had never had it before... It's powerful, Aspen. Really powerful. I would tear up too.

    Going to live with Snape. The inevitable. And another one of those changing points in this epic story. I love Harry's first few days there, so I can't wait to read those again, haha. The horror he must feel... Man.

    On a personal note - I think this is the chapter that gave me a paradigm shift of my own (if you could call it that), in that I realized that I was not the Gryffindor I wanted so badly to be, but that I am a Slytherin. I don't know how good of a thing I really believe it to be (considering some of the people in those house, though the story also taught me that those people don't have any bearing on that. Not really, anyway. Not where it matters.) but that's what I am. And I'm proud of it too, haha. Makes me feel kinda bad in a way, which is a fun feeling.

    Whilest I was updating this story, I caught the last few lines of Draco's Revenge, and it broke my heart all over again. I knew he deserved what was coming next, but the fact that he was crying like that... I just wanted to hold him. *Sniff*. Lol. Seriously though, I almost wanted to backhand Harry for not talking to him.

    Then this chapter - I literally sat and read/skimmed through it, finally reading it all after the point where Draco starts hallucinating. That poor boy. Not that he didn't deserve it! But man... I got all gushy and fuzzy when Severus held him in his lap, and had to laugh when Draco realized he was cuddling with him. Lol. It such a real reaction, it's great.

    *Blissful sigh* So glad I had time to read through these as I was waiting for my extremely slow computer to move, lol.

    I almost forgot about this one! What a fascinating insight to what could have been. You did such a wonderful job with this series - I really do hope you choose to continue it. It left me feeling so empty to know that you hadn't yet written a sequel (though I think it's remarkable how much you DID write), purhaps during Harry's time at school. But I understand how difficult it can be to do that, especially now that it has been so long. In any case, I love your stories -- they were the very first severitus stories I ever read on ffn and you converted me full force to genre :)

    I'm thrilled you decided to continue this saga in a sequel :D I read this last night before my internet mysteriously went out again, so I didn't have the opportunity to review until now, but man... I can't wait to find out where Snape has been. Though, it's probably nothing, huh? I could understand Harry's anxiety and anxiousness to know of Snape's whereabouts at all times. He's never really had anyone to call family and now that he's got that connection, he's not wanting to lose it, and to protect it. Makes perfect sense :) I think it's cute how concerned he is, haha. I hope you get the chance to updated soon.
