About me:

| Caramello was the name that a kid from my first grade class called me, as my real name is pronounced Kara (not Kira) and is just spelled differently. No one has called me that since, but I have a fondness for the candybar regardless :) There's not much to say about me other than I clearly love reading these stories. I tend to lean towards child-stories or stories where Snape adopts Harry. Biological father is cool too, but it's always irriated me (I'm not sure when) when Harry has glamour charms removed. I inevitiably still think of him as looking like I always pictured him to. Any and all story suggestions are welcome my way - I'm always searching for something new that I can read and love while waiting for the next chapter in other well-loved series. I used to write a lot, but haven't written so much in the last few years, and nothing that is able to be posted on this site - however, I love the editing process as well, and I'm one of Aspeninthesunlight's beta's, and I'm willing to look over anything anyone would like me to. I do have a tendency to speak my mind and pick through stories pretty thoroughly, so if you tend to be sensitive about constructive criticism, I might not be your ideal beta. [Report This]

Man! You had me on edge for the majority of that. But I think I know what's up with the new professor. I'm like 99% sure anyway, and if I'm wrong... well, I'm wrong, but anyway, I can't wait to see if I'm right or not. You have a real knack for being able to show us how Snape is "really" acting/being, while poor Harry thinks he's being serious. Lol. I like how Harry went along with Snape towards the end though, how he pretended as though he knew it was a show all along. That's very realistic, and I appreciated the honesty behind it.
Can't wait to read more!

I didn't even know you had updated until just now. Great chapter! It flowed well. I like this Worty kid. Terribly sad name he's been stuck with, but I love it, lol.

Very nice! This was a fun chapter :D I was confused by Harry casting "Alohamora" when it didn't really partain to the scene, however, it was all very amusing. Lol. I loved the part about Snape teasing him about girls. That was awesome. He has now found another weak spot of Harry's. Good for him!

Oh man! What a chapter. They finally know. And they took it well! :D Happy about that. You read too many stories in which they freak out on him, and those always irritate me. But really, this is so good. I can't believe Snape actually gave Draco permission to spy on him, though. That's pretty low. You'd hope that he had more faith in Harry than that -- I know he and Draco are all buddies now, or whatever, but still... Just because Snape was forced into the spy position doesn't mean that everyone else should be doing it too -- and you think he'd know that! Grrr. Snape. I know he had the best intentions at heart, but that was a poor way of delivering the news in any case.
I can't WAIT for another update :D

Oh come on! He can't be in trouble for serving his detention can he? C'mon... Agh, and I thought he SO had it coming to him after flinging Draco around like that, though. I guess it was bound to happen one way or another. I just hope Snape waits to reprimand him until they get back to his quarters, otherwise that's just mean and cruel, lol. But you're doing really well, I must say, and I'm very excited for the update. I hope it's coming sooner than later, too ;)

Haha. That name -- Worty. It gets me each time, haha. I love Harry's flippancy, it's too perfect, not to mention fun seeing Snape get riled up like that, lol.
Looking forward to more!

Haha, I loved it all. GREAT job! Their argument was a delight, and the way everyone reacted to his supposed possession was perfect :D

Awesome :D I started to reread A Time and Place to Grow last night and was thrilled see you had updated this. What Harry did to Draco was low, and he definitely deserved to get punched. He should've known that Ron can't keep his mouth shut worth anything, lol. It was great :D
Literature professor Severus Snape has always considered Harry Potter to be a problem student. “Just like his father” he always thought. That opinion changes when Snape is saddled with overseeing Harry’s “rehabilitation” after a botched suicide attempt. The two begin a strange journey towards something not unlike friendship with the help of poetry, which they both share a love for.

This is very interesting so far. A little rushed, but an interesting concept. I like the idea of poetry playing an intricate roll as the story pans out. I also like the AU aspect - how Snape is a literary teacher... AH. I just got the connection. Lit teacher, poetry... :D

Oops. I think I called Snape a literary teacher in my first review -- sorry. It's one in the morning right now, and I was about to wander to bed when I stumbled upon this. I meant to say Literature.
I really do like the idea of this story. I'm very excited to see what'll come - I think it would be nice to see a little more substance though, more thoughts and details. All the dialogue is good, but I think the other would compliment it nicely as well.
