*Nearly chokes* So here I go again, lol. I'm so sad that this is the ending! I had to drag out reading the last chapter, into this morning just so I could enjoy it all before it finished :) But I'm really excited for what else you have in store for us :D I hope that Charlie and Severus continue to have mutual respect for each other once Sev becomes his Potions professor and all. It would be terrible if his influence in Harry's life was in jeapordy just because Severus can't keep his comments to himself, lol. All in all though, it was a very sweet ending to your story. I hope that Harry is finally at that point where he can clearly see where is place in Severus's life is now. Poor child. Lol. But he's progressed so much, I can't feel too sorry for him anymore. I can't wait to see what else you have to share with us! The summer after 5th year, Death Eaters find Harry abandoned in the Dursley house and bring him to Voldemort. Will one particular Death Eater give up his position and his hate to save his enemy's child? Eventual Snape mentors Harry fic.

*Gains composure again... for the most part* How scary! I couldn't even imagine not being able to wake someone up. Though, I think it might be more frightening to not be able to wake up. I've had experiences where I was so exhausted I literally couldn't even twitch, and it scared the sh*t out of me, I would have to force myself to fall back asleep, and then could get up a few hours later, but yeah... Scary stuff. Anyway, that has to be the most excruciating pain ever. I can't even fathom my skin moving around like that. It gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it. I'm really glad Dumbledore was there with him, though. Who knows what would have happened otherwise? In any case, I hope he wakes up sooner than later. I don't think Harry could take it if it took him some time... Poor guy. Looking forward to more!
I hope to see more soon - hope Harry gets all his sight back, and that Severus isn't punished too badly for his true allegiances. :( Great job as always, Keira
It's a terrible thing what Harry went through, but I'm glad you're having Snape handle it with as much maturity as he is. I don't think (book-wise) he'd ever taunt him about it, but I'm fairly certain he'd still ridicule him and put him down every chance he got, in the future - but I'm glad to know (at least I THINK) this isn't going in that direction. Great job again :D Keira Author's Response: I can't make any promises that Snape won't be a complete a** from time to time, 'cause, well, he's Snape, but no, this fics not going that way, overall. Thanks for the review!
Good job! Keira Author's Response: Hi Kiera, Thanks! Yeah, I considered having Snape worry about that -- like he might need to send Harry away after all -- but figured I'd wait till another chapter to mention that.
I get the feeling you have several chapters written ahead of what you're posting, lol. Smart girl. Though, having to wait until Monday... after daily updates for so long... I dunno... ;) Jk. What's three days, right? I'm sure Whelp will be updated and keep me entertained in the meantime, lol. ;) Good job! Keira Author's Response: Alas, I don't have chapters written ahead, but I know in my mind the plot thingies for a bunch of it. I'm working on a new chap for Whelp, actually, right now, and will start a new one for Shadows when I finish it . . . or maybe I should write a couple ahead before I post anything more . . . JK! Thanks for the review!
Keira Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yeah, Snape is trying to be understanding, but he realizes how purgative a bit of destruction can be. And he did yell . . . a bit. :-)
So, I'm gathering that Snape's - promise - to arrange for other accomidations would mean St. Mungos? Not because he can't handle an out of control teen, but because he thinks Harry may need the help? Psychologically? Great chapter. Gotta love the hurt/comfort stuff :D Keira Author's Response: Hi Kiera, thanks for the review! I should have a new chapter out on the weekend, if all goes as planned. Yes, I will be more explicit about what they're "discussion of rules" was in the next chapter, but Snape did indeed threaten him with St. Mungo's, if he didn't promise to obey them, and purely for Harry's own safety. And yes, I think I was almost as upset about Hedwig dying as I was about . . . other people who figure prominently in my fic. *sigh* Consider it my small revenge, to have them here.
Author's Response: Tomorrow. And yes, Harry and Sev will be "having words" about this little stunt, no worries. I can hardly kill off one of my main characters, can I? :-)
Good job! Can't wait for more :) Keira Author's Response: I'm glad it all makes sense now . . . make sure to let me know if you need clarification, though. And thanks for the review! |
