About me:

Caramello was the name that a kid from my first grade class called me, as my real name is pronounced Kara (not Kira) and is just spelled differently. No one has called me that since, but I have a fondness for the candybar regardless :)

There's not much to say about me other than I clearly love reading these stories. I tend to lean towards child-stories or stories where Snape adopts Harry. Biological father is cool too, but it's always irriated me (I'm not sure when) when Harry has glamour charms removed. I inevitiably still think of him as looking like I always pictured him to. Any and all story suggestions are welcome my way - I'm always searching for something new that I can read and love while waiting for the next chapter in other well-loved series.

I used to write a lot, but haven't written so much in the last few years, and nothing that is able to be posted on this site - however, I love the editing process as well, and I'm one of Aspeninthesunlight's beta's, and I'm willing to look over anything anyone would like me to. I do have a tendency to speak my mind and pick through stories pretty thoroughly, so if you tend to be sensitive about constructive criticism, I might not be your ideal beta.

    I never received my update notice for this chapter, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it HAD been updated this morning... even if it means being late for work, haha.

    So, it finally happened. It's like a bit of relief, isn't it? There's probably a little bit of added nastiness to come, but that's to be expected, at least somewhat, from Ron. Hermione, we'll have to see about. She can go either way, but she's too levelheaded to be unwilling to at least try and accept the idea. I love that Severus is trying so hard to control his temper with them. It's perfect.

    Do they really call it Disney's Mouse? That's pretty cool, lol. Gotta love that place... I loved that Ron was so shocked by finding out that America is almost the size of all of Europe, lol.

    Hermione's reaction was perfect. I don't think I'd handle that kind of news much better, and she's far more rational than I'll ever be, lol.

    Who they?  I butchered several of the American placenames names on purpose, (like Wideway instead of Broadway) to convey Ron's Wizarding perspective on Muggle America, but um, no, it's just called Disney World, if you go to Florida, and Disneyland if you're in California.  :-)

    Wow, I can't believe it's over. You've moved through some of your stories so fast... and yet they're so long, lol. I absolutely adore this one in particular. It ranks right up there with a lot of other extremely well-written Severitus/Sevitus stories.

    Draco sure came to the right realization... and it took for a while, lol. I'm surprised Harry thanked him so quickly, but I like it. Shows how quick he is to be grateful, or at least pretend like he is, whichever it turns out to be, lol.

    Though, I will undoubtably be sad that this particular era has come to an end, I cannot WAIT for the sequel :D

    Hi Caramello,  Thanks for the review!  I, too, am amazed I finished this one . . . it was definitely the hardest of my stories to tackle.  You're right; Harry did thank Draco awfully quickly . . . but then, as has been pointed out, he is generally very quick to forgive, and he doesn't hold a grudge like some Snapes I might mention.  ;-)

    I should have the first chapter to the sequel out in a week or two, so no worries.

    Oh dude. You're killing me here. Is it Sirius?

    Man, it's hard to envision a world in which Harry doesn't know who Sirius is - I know he's only 13...12, whatever, but still. It'd be THAT much more special if he was seeing Sirius "ressurected" from the dead.

    Anyway, this story is extremely well written. I'm so thrilled I decided to read it tonight. I love the concept, though, I must admit I would have assumed ...*this*-Harry to still be alive - but I almost like it this way better. Adds another dimension to the tension and gut-wrenching sorrow they're both feeling at the moment. I really really like it.

    Please update again soon. I'm adding you to my favorites list. This story is incredible :D

    An update! Hooray! I'm really loving this story. It makes me all giddy and happy. I really can't wait for the day Harry takes his head out of his *cough* and realizes what he'd be leaving behind if he went back - and what a tragically sick existance he'd be going back to.

    Ahh, c'mon! You can't leave it there. That's completely unfair. This is going to bother me until we get some darned answers here! Lol. I do hope you are able to update soon. However...

    In the meantime, I must say that I'm enjoying seeing Sirius as happy and spontaneous as he is. That's the Sirius I've always wanted to see, and it's good to view it in such a way. The story still does have that dampened, dragging sense, though - due to the fact that Harry may or may not be a permanent fixture in this dimension, and it's ever present. So good job on that!

    Interesting. I like that Snape got thrown back into the other reality - it adds a new element to the story. Though I'm positive of the outcome, the way in which they'll reach that point is still beyond me. I look forward to more updates :)

    Interesting, interesting. I like that both Snapes had the same "dream" and that no one seems to know that this-Harry had died. Probably a good thing too, as I was seriously starting to question Sirius's sanity for taking him into town...
