When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.
Alternate 6th summer (and part of the school year): post-OotP; ignores HBP and DH.

- Such a nice long chapter! This was a very interesting chapter too, expecially the ending. I'm super curious to see whats going to happen next and hopefully you can update agian soon!

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you liked the ending. Next chapter next weekend, most likely. I would write faster if my boss would let me quit and still pay my bills for me...but alas! It is not meant to be... :(

- Excellent chapter! I'm glad they atleast somewhat believe Harry about the whole dream thing. It seems like Harry will be having some tough times ahead with everything going on. Keep up the great writing!

- Wow! They actually managed to get along, even though only briefly. Thats a ahocker but a good one atleast. I'm surprised Snape didn't comment on Harry's need to hang onto the mirror peice. Excellent chapter and I'm hopeing there's more soon!

- I am really liking these really long chapters!! Poor Harry keeps thinking he is causing the deaths of so many people. That was surprising that Snape actually told Harry about how hw learned to clear his mind. Outstanding chapter and hopefully more soon!!

- Awesome chapter! That was funny how Harry started laughing like crazy over the image of Snape singing to him. Shame that part wouldn't fit in because that would have been great! Keep up the great writing and I hope you'll find time to update soon!
