About me:

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and I've written a few pieces in other fandoms, as well as some drabbles and ficlets for the HP fandom, but mostly I have been a reader. For the Boy Who Has Everything is my first attempt at a full-length fic. Three Times Trouble is a response to my sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic.

My favorite characters are Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Neville Longbottom, and the elder two Weasley children, Bill and Charlie (whom we just don't see enough of, unfortunately). Many of the younger characters became more interesting to me as they grew older.

I like to theorize about how things work, especially things that aren't well explained in the books. Such as:

- How and why does a Patronus take the shape it does, when a wizard first learns the spell? How would a Patronus change its shape (e.g.; Tonks' and Snape's)? Does it take the shape of the other person's Patronus, or just a shape that the first person associates with them? If the other person is still alive, does that mean that now there are two identical Patronuses?

- Since some wands are specifically good for certain types of magic, does that mean wands choose their owner based on an inborn talent or potential?

- If people have minds, souls, and magic, how distinct are the three things? A piece of soul seems to possess both a mind and magic, although it isn't clear how much of each comes from the actual soul fragment and how much is purposely spelled into the object that contains the soul fragment. The horcruxes that reacted poorly to being messed with (e.g.: diary, locket) were most likely spelled to do that. However, the horcrux in Harry managed to impart magical skills, suggesting there may be some magic within the soul itself.

- What makes some magic stick around for centuries and not lose power, while other magic wears off over time, or ends abruptly when the spell-caster dies?

Harry rescues himself as a baby and chooses Severus Snape as his protector, why? No one knows because the toddler isn't talking and no one but Snape can see him. Author known as Teacherbev at ff.net.

This is very cute and has lots of potential! I'll be sure to read the next part.

When Harry appears at the Welcoming Feast wearing a glamor only Snape notices, Snape decides to find out what the glamor is hiding. His investigation leads to a number of shocking revelations---both about The Boy Who Lived, and about Snape's understanding of himself. Sixth year AU.

Intriguing. Draws the reader right in. Great job! I'm glad I didn't start reading before there were more chapters, or I would be going crazy not knowing what happens next. :-)

I'm really enjoying your Snape and also the point of view you're using (well, not the point of view, exactly, but I can't recall the proper word for when something is written in the present tense rather than past: "Snape says" instead of "Snape said"). Anyway, I can't wait to find out how Snape's going to take care of Harry's obviously huge problems.

I'm amazed at how well you've written Dumbledore. He's really hard to do (which is why in my own stories I got rid of him right from the start... LOL). Your characterization was spot on in this chapter. Fantastic!

If you ever need a beta, I'd be happy to go over the story and fix the (very few) mistakes. It's just minor things, like in the first chapter you have "At least, he thinks, he isn't the only the only member of staff."

Very good. I think a lot of Snape-goes-to-Privet-Drive scenes tend to be a bit overdone. This is nice and restrained, and realistic. I still love your Dumbledore, and Snape's great.

I wonder who will get stuck staying with Harry all summer. I feel sort of sorry for that person. :-)

I can't wait for the rest. Again, very good, and very believable.

Awesome end to an awesome fic, and YES, I would love more. If you have a sequel in mind, I would certainly love to read it.

Harry is beaten and then rescued by an unlikely savior. But, can he cope with the riveting news that follows? SlytherinHarry, GoodLuciusDraco. Very alternate universe!!!

    Sucks to be Harry, huh?

Again, good chapter, and hopefully Hedwig will hurry up and get someone.... three guesses who, but I only need one! :-D

On to the next chapter! I'm glad there's more already.

Poor Harry... too weak to even be shocked to see Snape!

I liked the details with Fawkes and Hedwig and the Order meeting.
