About me:

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and I've written a few pieces in other fandoms, as well as some drabbles and ficlets for the HP fandom, but mostly I have been a reader. For the Boy Who Has Everything is my first attempt at a full-length fic. Three Times Trouble is a response to my sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic.

My favorite characters are Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Neville Longbottom, and the elder two Weasley children, Bill and Charlie (whom we just don't see enough of, unfortunately). Many of the younger characters became more interesting to me as they grew older.

I like to theorize about how things work, especially things that aren't well explained in the books. Such as:

- How and why does a Patronus take the shape it does, when a wizard first learns the spell? How would a Patronus change its shape (e.g.; Tonks' and Snape's)? Does it take the shape of the other person's Patronus, or just a shape that the first person associates with them? If the other person is still alive, does that mean that now there are two identical Patronuses?

- Since some wands are specifically good for certain types of magic, does that mean wands choose their owner based on an inborn talent or potential?

- If people have minds, souls, and magic, how distinct are the three things? A piece of soul seems to possess both a mind and magic, although it isn't clear how much of each comes from the actual soul fragment and how much is purposely spelled into the object that contains the soul fragment. The horcruxes that reacted poorly to being messed with (e.g.: diary, locket) were most likely spelled to do that. However, the horcrux in Harry managed to impart magical skills, suggesting there may be some magic within the soul itself.

- What makes some magic stick around for centuries and not lose power, while other magic wears off over time, or ends abruptly when the spell-caster dies?

I wonder how Snape is planning to prove that he had good reason for taking Harry from the Dursleys. If he heals everything, and Dumbledore decides to play dumb to save face, Dumbledore could try to send Harry back. That would probably be the end of Harry right there, even if he physically survives it.

    I can't wait for Snape's revenge.

Poor little Harry, thinking he's going to be a house elf. It is rather a bad sign that he had such a low reaction to having a weird creature pop out of nowhere, although I suppose at his age it might not be as bad as if he were older.

    Good chapter.

Evil Dumbledore. I knew he would try something like that. I like Snape's indecisiveness, it seems very realistic.

Excellent chapter... frustratingly short... I'll be eagerly waiting for more!

Snape is going to have to learn some patience, quick.

I wonder if all of this is going to cramp his teaching style.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!  Since this will be Snape's first go at teaching, this fall, he won't have too much of a style to cramp yet.  But yeah, patience isn't really his strong suit when it comes to interpersonal skills.  Potions, sure, but people . . .  :)

I was thrilled to see this updated tonight, by the way. And *two* chapters!

Sad ending to this chapter. Poor little Harry.

On the other hand, things seem to be going pretty well for him. Let's hope the adoption goes through with no problems.

    Author's Response:

Well, now, where's the fun of "no problems"?  :-)

I should have anew chapter today or tomorrow.  Thanks for the review!

I really like the way you brought the Prophesy in. I felt sorry for Snape.

*sigh* Evil scheming liar!Dumbledore is at it again! I'd be angry too, if I was Snape.

What? Filch isn't a puddle of blood, guts, and bits of bone? Snape's losing his touch. :-)

Draco seems cute enough, but I bet he's trouble underneath the cuteness.
