About me:

I've been reading fanfiction for years, and I've written a few pieces in other fandoms, as well as some drabbles and ficlets for the HP fandom, but mostly I have been a reader. For the Boy Who Has Everything is my first attempt at a full-length fic. Three Times Trouble is a response to my sudden inexplicable enjoyment of kidfic.

My favorite characters are Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Neville Longbottom, and the elder two Weasley children, Bill and Charlie (whom we just don't see enough of, unfortunately). Many of the younger characters became more interesting to me as they grew older.

I like to theorize about how things work, especially things that aren't well explained in the books. Such as:

- How and why does a Patronus take the shape it does, when a wizard first learns the spell? How would a Patronus change its shape (e.g.; Tonks' and Snape's)? Does it take the shape of the other person's Patronus, or just a shape that the first person associates with them? If the other person is still alive, does that mean that now there are two identical Patronuses?

- Since some wands are specifically good for certain types of magic, does that mean wands choose their owner based on an inborn talent or potential?

- If people have minds, souls, and magic, how distinct are the three things? A piece of soul seems to possess both a mind and magic, although it isn't clear how much of each comes from the actual soul fragment and how much is purposely spelled into the object that contains the soul fragment. The horcruxes that reacted poorly to being messed with (e.g.: diary, locket) were most likely spelled to do that. However, the horcrux in Harry managed to impart magical skills, suggesting there may be some magic within the soul itself.

- What makes some magic stick around for centuries and not lose power, while other magic wears off over time, or ends abruptly when the spell-caster dies?

Harry and Draco are cuuuuuute. Snape seems to be mellowing out. Choosing an *appropriate* punishment? Wow! Who'd have thought? :-D

This story was just so cute and... all-around terrific. I loved it. Definitely one of my favorites.

Voldemort's forces are growing stronger and more organized. Despite warnings of this by the Order's spy, Harry Potter is captured. When he's rescued, will Snape be able to prove that he is useful as more than just a spy to the Order?

This is an awesome start. I LOVE this Snape. He's just canon enough to be believable, but much more edgy. I can totally see it. Plus I really like how you've set up his place in the Order.

Now, a couple of things I noticed:

"Albus Dumbledore was a man that"
Things THAT, People WHO. It should be "Dumbledore was a man who."

"a man that did wear his heart"
Same as above. Should be who, not that.

    dark lord
Should be always capitalized. It's his title and stands in for his name.

    auror
Also should be capitalized... not for any really good reason, but because Rowling capitalizes it.

    DeathEater
    Always two words, not one.

    Author's Response:

Thank you!  I mean that.  I'll get those changes in sometime today or tonight.  I really appreciate that you let me know the mistake and why it should be fixed.  You're a good teacher.

I can't say enough about how happy I am you like my Snape.  I hope I can keep him up to those standards.  I am definitely in the 'Snape is one scary guy' camp.

     Thanks and enjoy.

Very, very good. Again, I really love your Snape. I can't wait to see what happens next... sadly I have to leave for work, so I can't start the next chapter. Darn those cliffhangers!

    the boy who lived
Should be capitalized. And possibly separated by dashes, although that's up to you.

    deatheaters
    Capitalized and two separate words.

    anyways
Despite rampant misuse, there is no such word. The word you want is "anyway."

Misspellings of canon words and names is always more irritating than any other misspellings or grammar problems. I once got crucified for misspelling "Krycek" on an X-Files mailing list... and it wasn't even in a fic!

    Author's Response:

Thanks for the review and thank you very much for the corrections.  I've got a beta now...YAY! and we're going back over all the chapters and fixing them.  I'll watch for those mistakes.  She's already fixed the 'Death Eaters' for me and probably others.  I'll go back and check now.  I had no idea anyways wasn't even a word!  Learn something new everyday.  :)

    Thanks and enjoy!

    "Perhaps a stubbed toe" LOL

Great chapter. I hope Snape's not off to do something dangerous. But he probably is.

    Author's Response:

LOL  Glad you liked that one.

Dangerous is a relative term... ;)

    Thanks and enjoy!

"Tonks had tripped over a crack in the walk when Snape pushed her and she had fallen right behind a dustbin. "Ow!" "

    LOL!!!

Ooh, stupid Harry going with them to where he most definitely does not belong. Snape's going to murder him.

    Author's Response:

Glad you liked that line!  Lord, she's a clutz!  LOL

Snape has been standing in line for that priveledge for soooooo long.  ;)  We'll see...

    Thanks and enjoy!

I'm glad someone is starting to fill in the missing pieces... all those things we wish were there but weren't.

I'm sure the fanfiction will start to pour in once people have had a chance to sort out their feelings and the new info. I know personally I'm not ready to start writing anything that takes book 7 into account... in fact I'm not ready to continue my fic that ignores book 6, let alone book 7, until I can figure out what new info can be pulled into it and what will simply have to be disregarded.

Anyway, this was a nice piece... good job.

The summer after 5th year, Death Eaters find Harry abandoned in the Dursley house and bring him to Voldemort. Will one particular Death Eater give up his position and his hate to save his enemy's child? Eventual Snape mentors Harry fic.

"kill him, or torture him, or do other freaky things"

    EEEP!!!

Oh no, another one to add to my favorites....

I like the premise. The end of this chapter really had me on the edge of my seat.

So much for the plans to make a run for it when Harry is well. Stupid Harry, not keeping his mouth shut when he should. :-(

Author's Response: No doubt!  Maybe he'll learn that lesson, anyway.  :-)
