About me:

Hi, I'm Kim.  I live in Pennsylvania.  I have three children but two have grown and moved out.  One is still fairly young.  I've homeschooled the children most of their lives so I haven't worked in quite a few years.  I run a website called Spirit Talks where mediums meet and help others to hear from those who've passed.  We're on Hiatus right now as my web building software disappeared and none was included in my new computer's op system.     I love Harry Potter and the world of fanfiction associated with it.  Who knew there were so many talented and wonderfully imaginative people out there willing to give more life to characters who must rest for years between adventures?  I'm just glad there is! Great chapter! I love that Harry feels such trust in his father coming to fix things. Filch would frighten just about anyone but a small child? Yikes!

Author's Response: Yeah, Filch's kind of an ogre in general, but I can imagine the horror he presents to a 7 year old!  Thank for the review!  --rachel

I loved Filch's fate. The Headmaster was surely showing his true colors in this one. Now if he survives Draco, too, he'll be Super Hero Harry! hehehe

Author's Response: Oh, goodness, I hope not!  I'd have to get him a cape and little red boots, and it would be wrong.  ;-)

Lots more "awwww" moments! I loved the pestering Harry subjected Snape to and the love after the nightmare was wonderful. Best of all was meeting Hagrid!

Author's Response: Yay, Hagrid!  Thanks for the review.  Next chappie on Monday.

What a perfect Draco! Lucius was great, too. I love how you portray that family. Seems just right to me. Poor Harry, surgery then Draco tries to make him feel inadequate. I'm glad he keeps his belief that he's doing just fine.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I figure Draco and Harry will be good for each other.  They both need a good friend, and an adult who cares about them.

Great chapter, as always. I loved Molly and Severus and their chat with Dumbledore looking on but the kids playing was the most fun! Oh, and Hagrid too, I love that guy.

Aww, that was great. I loved your story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Written for the Triwizard Guardian Challenge. Dumbledore thinks that Harry needs someone to help him through this uncertain "tournament." Who would you choose?

Good chapter. Poor Snape has to figure out how to help Harry without seeming to. Can't be easy to figure out how to do that.

Voldemort's forces are growing stronger and more organized. Despite warnings of this by the Order's spy, Harry Potter is captured. When he's rescued, will Snape be able to prove that he is useful as more than just a spy to the Order?

This is definately one of the better stories out there. I am really glad it was included in the weekend email. Your writing is fantastic and your story, interesting. I hope you get lots of reviews and update soon. :)

Author's Response: Wow!  Thanks so much.  I'm already working on the next few chapters so expect updates within the next week!

Such a satisfying chapter. I really enjoyed seeing that Snape had fought to keep Harry even though others had fought to take him, as well. I'm so thrilled to hear you have another to post. Yay!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.  I'll get them posted as fast as I can.  Several are in the works right now and since I tend to write out of chronological order, they'll go faster when I get to later chaps that are already mostly written.  I just realized though...this is going to be a looonnng story!  Yikes!
