Reviews by Shellie

Following the disasterous Third Task, Harry begins to notice two things about himself. First: his appearence has begun to change. Second: something is very very wrong. The Cruciatus shouldn't continue to be causing him pain this far out from having received it, should it?

No, not mad - just still greedy! lol
Its your fault for being such a fantastic author and having a story that just leaves us on the edge of our seats.

Now I know why didn't comment on last reviews - I was too close. LOL

Hope you had a fantastic birthday.

Author's Response: Lol, don't worry. I don't mind everyone being a bit greedy. I will say, I have some long chapters coming up. And we're moving into the part of the story arch I've lovingly labeled as "pure chaos," so you have that to look forward to. I hadn't responded to the last reviews because I was celebrating my birthday and didn't feel like it. But yeah, so close. I love it when the reviewers start picking up on my hints. I'm kinda sad that no one has picked up on one of the most glaring plot points though. Or at least I think it's glaring. At this point, all of the clues to figuring it out are there, but I'm not gonna say anything more than that. That's gonna be my little mystery. ;)

Remus is about to find out if Hermione thinks he already knows. Glad she is at least thinking before she acts or accuses this time! Poor Elias, they have got to get him disconnected from Voldie or get Voldie to lay off the Crucios! Maybe someone should start dosing HIM with extra strength calming potion or get him into anger management classes!

Author's Response: Now that is an image! Lol! Glad you’re enjoying this nonsense!

Not a long review this time, but a review nonetheless. I would say I hate to see you put poor Elias through all this but I am a sucker for hurt/comfort so that would be a lie. LOL Hopefully his confusion will let up more as he wakes up, but I will look forward to the next part as always!

Author's Response: Oh, I feel that! I'm a huge sucker for hurt/comfort (if you can't tell from my stories). Next part is up and.... well.... don't get your hopes up on the confusion.

Oh my, I don't even know where to start! I do think poor Sirius needs told Harry is alive. He's not so much in Dumbledore's pocket anymore and I just feel so sorry for him! Looking forward to the conversation between Hermione and Ron after her talk with Remus!

Just great, Elias was doing his usual eavesdropping. It was late though, so not sure how much he understood. I am probably seeing something that is not there but I am hoping the interest Shannon is taking in Remus might result in some of his medical issues being addressed.

I apologize for inadvertently giving a spoiling last review, hope I didn't do it again! lol I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see your original outline and if you do work on it as a side story - feel free to send more.

    Author's Response:

I hope you'll find the next chapter an adequate one in regards to conversations between our various factions!

It wasn't as late as you think, it was only lunch time which puts him in prime awareness time, unfortunately. I will say, as much as I would love for Shannon to help Remus, her primary focus is spell damage and lycanthropy is not a spell. It would make for a lovely interaction, but I don't think she would really want to take him on as a patient when she is actually quite busy dealing with an ever unfolding crisis in Belarus/Ukraine.

Oh, no, you have no idea how much your inadvertent spoiler made me laugh when I saw it. And I know that you have absolutely no clue what it was as it is a simple linguistic mistake that I am 100% playing with in this story and plays very much into one of the main plotlines (not the secret one I keep alluding to, though). If you do end up doing it again, I may poke fun at it, but I am so so so confident that you don't know what you said and that no one else will pick up on it that I have been cackling literally since I saw it. If you do do it again, know that it only makes me laugh to see it.

Hope you're enjoying Twitch btw. Like I said, radically different from this story in so many ways, but you can pick up on a lot of the similar elements between the stories. I don't really do "outlines" per se so I can't really send that, but I may post a chapter at the end of all of this that is just pure notes I made while writing this that has all of the references and some of the more comedic elements I put in the story for myself so I can enjoy it more as I read through it over and over and over again to try and keep the continuity there.

    As always, glad you enjoyed!

So liquid lightning helps Elias stabilize. A very small amount and for a good reason! I would think liquid lightning would be best in small doses.

Poor Draco, I really feel sorry for him and hope he can be told what is going on with the same restrictions the others have.

You responded to my review but the review response thing isn't working. It just says Author's Response and then its blank. I noticed it for another author.

Can't wait till next week too!

This is FANTASTIC! Too many good things to point them out, but you have come back with a bang. I hope this means we are back to your once a week posting but I can understand the strain you are under. I am relieved you are okay and looking forward to more of your other stories as well.

Author's Response: Sorry for scaring you! Yeah, I just needed a bit of a break. I'm hopeful for the once a week postings, but I'm not going to hold myself to that schedule as rigorously. That being said: update incoming today.

So many new stories/chapters on P and S that I just now got to this one. LOL Elias asleep when Arthur is attacked, uh oh, not good.

They need to set up a hospital type situation for him at Hogwarts. Snape knows the connection is real and he's missing out on important intel.

Nice to know that even with his memory gone, Gilderoy is still an idiot!

As usual, you have pulled us into your story and now we wait. :)

Author's Response: Or... now hear me out... I could do what I just did in the upcoming chapter. Which is arguably the worst possible option (insert finger-guns). As for Gilderoy, yeah, he's consistently an idiot. I can't change that.

OMG, I can't believe he took nearly a full vial of that stuff - undiluted!

Poor guy now has burns all over him from wards and I imagine the death of a magic snake while you are holding it, as well as the sudden released of all that energy - is going to suck!

Its interesting, looks like Crucio's action of igniting every nerve seems to overload people that have it on them too long. Frank and Alice seem to know more than they should, they just can't do anything about it.

    Amazing chapter

Author's Response: Yeah, my thoughts on them is that everything they do is a lateral thinking puzzle. Even in the book, Alice giving Neville the gum wrappers I saw as such a sweet gesture if you think of it in kind of a sideways fashion. She was giving him a wrapped present (a literal wrapper) that contained something she enjoyed (the gum) and she wanted him to enjoy it as well (which is why she mad a point of handing it to him and not his grandmother). I think they truly do understand more of what is going on around them than they're able to let on canonically and in this fic.

I really hope you start writing your stories again.   I would also love if you would put them on AO3 because I can download them to my Kindle.          lol        Hope you have a great holiday.

“The Ministry takes a vested interest in ensuring our young witches and wizards are as safe as we can make them and you, dear boy, are very important to Minister Fudge.” Professor Umbridge said, simpering in a self-satisfied way as she said Fudge’s name. “So I must ask you where you’ve been this last August?”

Harry coughed into his tea and nearly spilled it over himself.

What a cliffhanger! Six year old Harry with an adult Horcrux on board that he's thinking of letting out.
