- Wow, that sounds like quite the mess. Wait till she finds out progress is halted and reversed due to a connection to Voldemort! As if he doesn't have enough problems. The only complaint I have is updates are not fast enough. I know, I know, its that pesky LIFE thing you writers have. Its okay, I'll be waiting.
Author's Response: I am afraid you have misunderstood.... Voldie is definitely making things worse. I shall not spoil the things though. I am trying to stay roughly 100 pages ahead of the reader just because there is a lot of continuity issues I am trying to keep in check. I could spam out like 18 or so more chapters right now, but that rather locks me into a position I can’t work around and would cause even longer waits between updates.

- Oh no, I understood quite well Voldie is making things worse! That's why I said that any progress in healing him gets reversed by that connection. Poor Harry. I do understand about doling out the chapters, but how else will you know we like it a lot if we don't whine a little?
Author's Response: My apologies, I misread your original comment! I figure I cannot make everyone happy, so I shoot for continuity. This story is going to get rather complicated quite soon, so I’m trying to keep things both making sense and moving forward at a reasonable pace.

- Oh yes, Umbridge will not be pleased he dared to have a seizure during HER speech. Idiot woman, like they can be prevented. I see Remus is getting hints others should have thought of since his sense of smell is so much better than a human. I think he would be the first figure it out, given enough time. And then poor Elias, a seizure on the first night the kids are back. They didn't see anything, but it would still suck. Snape may be a new father, but he's doing an awesome job.
Author's Response: I'm not really digging into this because there is so much other stuff going on in this story but when I imagine Remus's sense of smell, I picture it fluctuating with the moon. Full moon: full on wolf sense of smell. New moon: human smelling ability. I was actually really happy that the full moon in 1996 was actually only a few days before the start of term, otherwise that entire part with him smelling the seizure would have been changed. Yes, I have plotted this down to the full moon. As for Umbridge, we all hate her. I'm currently working on a chapter with her and Elias interacting, but that won't be out for a while. I'm glad you're enjoying this, I really am!

- Colin! Wow, he's a pain in your story too. I am always glad to see an update from you. And they have blown this blood status thing WAY out of proportion! He didn't blast her because she is muggleborn, he blasted her because she was being annoying! LOL

- I have told you many times how much I enjoy your story. I have also told you how much I don't enjoy that you have a LIFE outside of writing it. LOL Too many hints are getting thrown around, I don't see Elias secret staying a secret for long. I am glad they are trying to address the summer misunderstanding. What a rude response from Hermione! "Just because you couldn't keep up with the conversation!" WOW
Author's Response: I wish I didn't have a life outside of writing, but, alas, I have bills. Yeah, I've always thought Hermione was a bit full of herself and if you aren't with her, you're against her. I've run across far to many people like the way I portrayed her and I dislike them all thoroughly.

Ouch. Why does it sound like Snape wishes he could also still take points from Gryffindor for Elias? LOL

- Remus' little anecdote about baby Harry was adorable! And he's getting even more suspicious. The book sounds like they had some good ideas about electricity already, even if they didn't understand why it helped to build there. Umbridge, is of course Umbridge. Dark Arts in a book about - Muggle electricity and building. Yeah, what an idiot.

- Again, THANK YOU for your birthday present to us! Two nice long chapters and I am still greedy and can't wait till you post again. lol The disconnect of Voldie and Elias is interesting. What is even more interesting is Elias' connection to him is just as strong as ever but its weaker on the other side. Severus is starting to make connections, but he is slow for such an intelligent man. After all, both times Elias got worse were connected to events with Voldie.
