- Can I say that your writing is amazing?
I love this fiction dearly. Your characterizations are beautiful and the style seems so cannon to me! And the plot line is brilliant!!! I can't find anything that I would change except that I still want more! I love it when Snape comes out with his protective side and you do such a wonderful job at it too...

- Great writing style! It was a bit difficult to read in the first few chapters because of the bulky paragraphs, but I think you straightened that out nicely. Please update soon! I can't wait to see what happens!

I posted the first nine chapters all at once so I didn't know how distracting the paragraph lengths could be until chapter 10 or so. I'll be going back to fix those early chapters very soon.

After Harry is caught for exploding a cauldron in 2nd year Potions, Snape insists he keep a firm hand on the boy he must secretly protect. However, he discoveres that there is more to the twelve year old than unruliness and disrespect. Similarly, Harry learns from and gains a new perspective of his professor.

- Brilliant work! I love your characterizations and your Snape and Harry just seem so real! The way you made Harry slowly break down throughout the chapter was amazing and I think that the way he finally broke during the punishment was great. I think that Harry needs a good hug and to tell Snape about the voices :) Snape also seems just perfect harsh and yet a teacher at the same time. Love it!

After the Dobby incident at the beginning of the second book, Harry runs away, and Snape kidnaps him. In an old-fashioned house with no comforts and a huge black dog, Harry finds himself at Snape's mercy as Snape plays mind games and makes Harry live through different scenarios. Though Snape seems crazy and psychotic, Harry begins to see reasons behind Snape's sporadic behavior.
There is corporal punishment, but it is different from what I've written before. This is a Mean!Snape story for the most part. If you're looking for a cuddly story, go elsewhere please.

- beautiful! absolutely beautiful. you have no idea how much pleasure i get from this story :) i cried the entire part where Harry was sorry for making Sev come back... it broke my heart to hear him say that. but sev's reassurances were wonderful... he's a great dad :)

Excellent chapter. I think the thing that really stood out in this one was the seamless transitions of emotion that you made with Severus's character. WAY TO GO! To go from being so concern for Harry, all the way to his furious exit was amazing. I love reading the way you write him!
I can't help but feel bad for Harry. He's just gotten his father back from being dead, and now he's being 'punished' (can't wait to see what you come up with for THAT one!) for standing up for his parents. *sigh* yes, hitting is wrong, but I think he deserves a little bit of slack... I have a feeling that Harry locking himself away wouldn't be too far out of the picture, especially with his physical and mental health... it could have some serious side effects that Sev would need to fix.

LOL Yeah, rough life Harry has. Well, he is destined to kill Voldy, so what can you expect? ;o) Nope, nothing wrong with standing up for your parents, but that's not Snape's problem with it. He wants Harry to learn to control his temper before it's too late.
Yeah, it is quite possible that Harry will lock himself away. It's his coping mechanism. We'll see what happens. Glad you enjoyed. :o)
