- Oh Gods, I'm crying (well my version of a cry), I've hardly ever cried for a story. It was so sweet though. I like it better than A Year Like None Other if you've read it and how Harry reacts to the torture. I like your version better of his struggles. The diary is neat too and I can really see how you plan to show his progress.
I hope you don't kill off Snape 'cuz (would that be a banned word?)I saw mentions of DH. I don't think I would be able to handle anymore tear jerking emotions.

- I think that Hermione's reaction, although pretty dramatic, was fine for her character. I remember that she cried after Harry had just yelled at them and had flung herself at him in pity, so nothing new here!
But, I bet Hermione is just going to search up PTSD anyways!
Harry is subjected to an Unforgivable curse that will leave his life altered in a number of unforeseeable ways. Can Snape help Harry find himself before it is too late?

- I think that...I want to read more and that I'll be counting the days until you update...and that it as very well written.
It says self harm in the warning. Is that because of what he did under Imperius or what he will do later (I am not partial to either)?
Author's Response: Thank you for the review. I have the next two chapters finished, but am having trouble uploading them. They'll be here soon. ;) As for the self-harm...You'll just have to see. ;)
After Harry is caught for exploding a cauldron in 2nd year Potions, Snape insists he keep a firm hand on the boy he must secretly protect. However, he discoveres that there is more to the twelve year old than unruliness and disrespect. Similarly, Harry learns from and gains a new perspective of his professor.

- Awesome chapter! I loved how you made Snape in character even though he suspected neglect and/or abuse!
Now, he checked Harry's wrist. Was that for cutting or just bruises?

And actually, he was checking Harry's hands for potion damage since Harry had been working with so many expired onces. I believe the line in the chapter was "checked for potion-irritation". I often miss things in stories as well and things tend to make more sense after a second read-through...so I understand ;)
And just so you know, there will not be any selfharm!Harry in this story.
