- I liked your perspective on the Mountain Troll battle--I could almost feel sorry for it, it's so stupid.
I also liked Severus' grudging admiration for Harry's and Ron's skills in defeating the troll. It was a pretty awesome thing for two first years to do. And it's even near the beginning of the year--they really haven't had time to learn a lot.
Looking forward to more!

- Aw, cute chapter! I'm glad Alec is getting to relax and have some fun on his first real holiday.
I'm still chuckling at the image of Severus flirting! Is anything going to come of it, I wonder?

- Great chapter! I especially loved Alec and Severus joking about him being a vampire. It could be really interesting if Alec and his friends were all animagi.
Author's Response: They are slowly working on it and I'm not going to have them suddenly just manage the transformation. But eventually they should accomplish it, with time and lots of practicing.

- I'm glad Alec had fun at Lisa's birthday party. It'd be wonderful if Severus could find a way to improve the Wolfsbane!
Author's Response: He's working on that but it's not a major part of the story. Remus is a good guy so I'm trying to get Snape to help him out a bit there. Thanks again for all your continuous reviews!

- Great chapter! Ugh, Lockhart. He's one of my least favorite people. I laughed when Asphodel chased him away.
Oh, dear, looks like Alec and Draco are going to have problems. I have to say, though I know hitting is wrong, that I can't help but feel that Draco had it coming.
And now, the school year is about to begin. It ought to be interesting!

- It's good to see Hermione and Ron. I wonder if Alec will become friends with them, too, since he's already close to Lisa and Josh?
Lockhart's quiz is just ridiculous, isn't it? Of course, the man himself is ridiculous so what can you expect?
I'm glad Severus will give Alec and friends extra tutoring in Defense. I have a feeling they're gonna need it!

- Another great chapter! I loved the dueling, and protective dad Severus is wonderful. Maybe Draco will think twice before using an unknown curse.
I'm thinking Hermione must have the diary this time. She probably couldn't resist looking in a book. And now the Chamber is open and Alec is hearing the basilisk?
He really should go straight to his father, but I can understand why he didn't. Poor kid still has a lot of insecurities.

- Very cool animagus forms! I particularly like the snow leopard for Alec, though a raven would be fun, too. At least Lisa gets to fly, or she will once she masters the transformation.
It's very interesting how you're having them have to learn so much about their animal forms. I never really thought about Animagi having to do that, but it makes a lot of sense.
And I wouldn't want to be Lockhart now. That man never learns, does he?

- Oh, Snape's revenge was perfect. Poor bald Lockhart. I imagine losing his hair was much worse than losing his bones, at least for him. He's so vain.
Loved Snape being right behind Josh and overhearing him. Poor Josh, but thank heavens he didn't say anything really bad!
