Hufflepuff!
10 year old Harry is kidnapped along with his aunt and cousin after Vernon finds money that belonged to powerful people. Snape eventually steps in to save the day. Severus later adopts Harry though a ritual to make Harry his biological son. Harry just wants to be normal but that isn't possible with escaped convict Sirius Black on the loose! Harry's first year at Hogwarts but with a slight twist to it.

- Hey, good chapter! So Alec is a Ravenclaw? That's very original--he's usually a Slytherin if not in Gryffindor.
Sounds like Anthony has a grudge against Snape. It's not always easy being a teacher's kid, but hopefully, Alec and Anthony will resolve things.
Big lesson for all new students--never trust the older ones! Good thing Severus came along.
Sounds like an exciting first day!

- What an exciting flying lesson! I'm glad Alec caught Lisa in time! And who could his enemy be? Just another student who doesn't like Snape, or worse?

- Oh, what a fun chapter! I loved reading about the birthday party! Having a new birthday is one more way that no one would suspect Alec Snape is Harry Potter, and it means he gets to celebrate without having to wait til the next summer!
Lisa and Josh sound like really good friends, too. Alec is very lucky to have them.

- Boy, I was thinking we were in for more lighthearted fun, or just the usual difficulties of the school year, and now the rug's been pulled out from under me! It was a great chapter, very exciting, I just wasn't expecting all the danger.
I can't wait to find out who that Slytherin is, and let Severus take care of him. And Sirius is indeed back in the picture. I wonder if he'll discover who Alec really is.

- Wow, it just gets more exciting! I like how Sirius figured out the truth, but it doesn't look as if he and Severus will get along any better still. At least Sirius has Alec's best interests at heart.
Terence Higgs was the guilty party, huh? I bet he'll live to regret attacking Snape's son!

- Lovely chapter! I'm glad Severus and Alec got to spend a lot of time together over the holidays, and I wonder if Alec's sparring skills might come in handy one day?
The cat sounds like a perfect gift for Severus. I can't wait to find out what the kitty's name will be. It was nice to see Severus and Minerva joking with one another, too.

- Great, great ending! I'm glad Pettigrew was captured, and Alec and Lisa are both all right. At first I was afraid that the wolf was a werewolf (Greyback perhaps), so it was a relief to hear that it was a just a plain wolf. I also liked how Sirius was there to help, maybe that will be important for Severus and him to get along better.
Hope they can have a fun vacation now. They've earned one.
Oh, and Asphodel (or Asp) is a good name for the cat!

- Great ending for a great story! I loved how Snape was outraged and protective on Harry's behalf, but still a bit snarky face to face.
I hope you will write a sequel. I'm very curious to see Harry's letter!
