About me:

Hi, everyone.  I'm a long-time HP fan, but new to reading and writing HP fanfics.  Of course Harry and Severus are favorites, but I really like almost all the characters.

I'm a preschool teacher, and happily married with two children who also love HP.  Other things to know about me?  Hmm, I love horseback riding, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.  I love coming to talk with other fans on the internet, and I love reading fanfics.

Well, this chapter has really thrown me for a loop. I can't understand what's up with Dumbledore. Is that even really him? Is it possible that someone's gotten hold of some Dumbledore Polyjuice Potion?

I don't like the sounds of what's going on with the Ministry, and I too think that maybe Severus and Harry should take off for parts unknown for a while.

I can't wait to find out what's going on!

Oh, wow, this is a tough chapter! Great, but tough. I knew something was going on with Dumbledore--he was just so unlike himself. I sure hope that he or someone else can get Voldemort out of his mind. I can't imagine what Harry is feeling at the close of this chapter.

And as for Harry---please, please let Severus and Remus or somebody come to help him before Voldemort and Malfoy do anything else to him! That poor kid has been through so much agony already, he just doesn't need anymore. I can hardly bear it for him.

And please, please, don't leave us in suspense for long!

Ok, talk about nail-biting tension here! I'm so glad that Severus was able to force himself awake, and that Remus was able to hold off his change and let him know where Harry is. So at least Severus knows Harry needs help and is on his way.

I'm so proud of Harry, too! He's managing not to fall apart, but to take stock of the situation. That shows a lot of fortitude and courage. I hope he's able to get Voldemort out of Dumbledore, though! This could be very tricky.

Now I'm off the read the next chapter!

Oh, Harry was brilliant! I loved how he used Legilimency and his feelings of love to overcome Voldemort, especially when he consciously acknowledged his love for Severus. I know Severus does love Harry, too, but I can't remember if he has consciously acknowledged it to himself yet.

I'm so glad that Dumbledore is free and that Harry thought to put a protection around him too, so hopefully Dumbledore will be all right now.

And Harry beat Lucius, hooray, hooray! I wonder exactly what he did--it sounded like he was splitting Lucius' soul, sort of like making Horcruxes, only without the murder and the Horcruxes, lol. Well, whatever, Lucius deserves everything he gets and then some! I have absolutely no sympathy for the beast.

I am glad, for Harry's sake, that he didn't kill him, though. I don't want Harry to be a killer, even though it would be totally understandable in this case, but I don't want Harry to have to bear that burden.

Severus showed up just in time, thank goodness, and I loved his words to Harry and how he gathered Harry in his arms and took him home. Yep, he loves him all right!

Now I'm just a little bit worried for Severus though. I doubt Lucius is going to be a threat, probably not ever again. But could Voldemort decide to come back? Surely not, please!

I just can't wait til the next chapter! Hopefully, Harry and Severus can have a real heart-to-heart about what just happened.

This may be my favorite chapter yet! I adore all the interaction between Severus and Harry!

Severus really is a wonderful guardian--Harry needs somebody who's overprotective. To be honest, I think in Harry's case, there's no such thing as being overprotective. I mean, Voldemort has Harry in his sights, and Harry is in great danger because of that. I have no doubts that Harry will be the victor in their ultimate confrontation, though.

It's just wondeful to see how far Harry and Severus have come, both in recovering from the horrific traumatic events earlier, and in their relationship with one another. And Severus admitted to himself that he 'liked' Harry. Guess he's not quite ready to call it 'love', but we know better.

I'm sad to think of this story ending, but I can't wait for the sequel.

Another great chapter! I love Harry and Severus talking at the beginning, and how Severus is planning on taking care of Harry from now on.

I'm really curious to see what Severus has in mind to make school starting easier on Harry, because Harry doesn't seem as if he is really ready for normal classes--private tutoring with a few friends, giving Harry's friends permission to hex anyone who bothers him into oblivion? Probably not the last, although that would be kind of fun to see. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.

I can't wait to read the rest of this discussion between Severus and Ron and Hermione. I know lots of people are hard on Ron--it seems like Ron is usually the one who doesn't take it well when Harry and Severus start to get along. But I think Ron is a really great, loyal friend. He has his own reasons to dislike Severus, but the main problem Ron has is that Severus was cruel and unfair to Harry in the past, and Ron just doesn't trust him yet, that Severus' feelings have changed and he wants to help Harry now. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend who cares for us as much as Ron does for Harry.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this story and of course, the sequel. I love your other stories, too, but I think this one is my favorite!

Fantastic ending! I really loved this story, and I'm so excited about the sequel!

Although it was terrible how Harry had to suffer to get this point, it is satisfying to see how far he and Severus have come and how relaxed they are around each other now. To me, it seemed that Severus almost seemed to hover over Harry before leaving for the Feast. Very cute, although Severus would have my head for saying that.

Draco certainly surprised me, but I'm quite thrilled that he seems to be on a redemption arc, and that Harry could see Draco as himself, and not a copy of his father. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this.

Severus' plan for Harry to 'attend' class was brilliant, and I'm so glad Harry has someone to watch out for him, finally.

One last thing, I was re-reading, and I came upon the part close to the beginning, when Harry thinks about how no one has ever said "I love you" to him, and how much he wanted to be loved. Well, I do think Severus loves Harry now, even if he isn't quite ready to call it 'love', but I really hope that at some point in the sequel he will actually say the words---Harry needs to hear it, and it would mean so much to him.

Well, congratulations on finishing this one, and I can't wait for the sequel to begin!

Author's Response: Hi Kristeh, thank you very much for your review!  Draco will definitely be a large part of the sequel, as he has a lot of things to work through now that Lucius is gone.  And as for those three little words . . . well.  I'm saving that for later.  ;-)  Thanks again!

The war is over, but not for Harry. Along with Sirius and Remus, Harry is forced to go into hiding... with Snape as their guardian.

Very original story! I'm enjoying it tremendously! It's a lot of fun to see them all, Sirius especially, as little kids. It'll be interesting to see if Snape and Sirius can forge a better relationship eventually. I really feel for all of them, Snape included. It's a very tough position they're in.

On the plus side, after being around young Sirius, maybe Snape will see that Harry really isn't so bad, after all.

I don't envy Harry having to tell Sirius they've got to be in Slytherin, though. Remus may not be happy, but I think he can accept it under the circumstances. Sirius, though...well, like I said, I don't envy Harry!

During the summer before his third year at Hogwarts, Harry somehow ends up in a reality where Severus Snape is his father. AU, Sevitus — Includes Sirius!

This is a really interesting twist on the 'Snape-is-Harry's-dad' idea! I love it, and I feel so sorry for Severus. He's mourning the loss of his son, then thinks he's got him back somehow, but Harry isn't really his Harry. That would have to be heartbreaking for him.

It'll be interesting to see if Harry does decide to stay in this alternate reality or not. Or I wonder if there could be a way to somehow combine them?

I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

As a first year, Harry is sorted into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor, and no one is more surprised than his new Head of House.

Oh, wow, this is the chapter I've been longing for! Severus finally really, truly, completely opened his heart to Harry, and whether it becomes official or not, they're father and son!

I loved Severus' initial reaction to discovering how Harry Obliviated him...it was very in character and really, anyone would be angry at having their mind tampered with. I loved how the Baron tried to reason with Severus, and I especially loved how Severus let his anger go when he saw that Harry needed help and comforting.

I don't know what you have planned for the future, but I have to admit that I hope Severus won't be a spy...it means he has to hide his relationship with Harry and I like it so much better when they can be open. And if Gaius has a brain (which he may not), it seems he'd figure that Severus' reaction was a little too fiercely protective for someone who is on Voldie's side.

I hope Harry will be all right, and learn that he can trust Severus. I hope everything will turn out all right with Occlumency, and I hope Hermione will be safe from this Gaius sicko, too. I'm not going to say that I hope everything turns out right with Dursleys because I know that Sev won't let Harry go back to them, even if he has to kidnap the boy himself.

    Looking forward to more!
